Always Independent Films http://www.alwaysif.com
At this web site you will see a showcase of independent films. These movies are made from many different formats, even a film made with a Game Boy Camera! The point is always just to do it, as a friend once said to "Get it in the Can."

 DV Filmmaker   http://www.dvfilmmaker.com
This online magazine is dedicated to resources for DV Film makers and will allow you to gather more information about the art.

Hash Animation Master http://www.hash.com
Even DV Filmmakers sometimes need special effects. This is a 3D program if a starship, etc was needed. This little $200 program is growing in popularity and strength. Each release is better than the last, but it can give serious competition to programs like 3D Studio Max (Lost in Space, Jarassic park) and Lightwave 3D (Titanic, M&M commercials).

Nubian Affair Website  http://nubianaffair.freeservers.com
This web site (best viewed with Netscape) is a site I created to discuss my first film and the trials I went through to create it. It talks about how I made a $300 film, and the effort we went through to create it. I think the biggest accomplishment is the cast/crew section that easily shows that we had over 45 students working on the project!

Sony TRV900 Website http://www.bealecorner.com/trv900/
This site shows a lower end DV camera that costs about $2,000 but you can easily see with CD quality sound and the awesome picture avalible that some serious films can be made by the creative direcor/writer/producer.

StripedHat:   http://www.stripedhat.com
This website is an excellent source of media that will give the examples of films that can be created from a small budget. Some of the ideas are out there, but some are very well done. But notice the direction and the ability for them to come together to create the films. I'm sure if they put there mind to it with a solid screenplay, they would easily be able to create a feature length film that would be seriously wroth watching.
